cup of plenty

I have only recently started feeling comfortable inside this life of mine. Where I feel as if...it fits me. Where I feel as if.... this is my little piece of  the world. I can gather all of my pieces here and lay them at the door of life...and walk through; unencumbered. This life of mine is so extraordinary in it's ordinary-ness. I can breathe here...and grow and love and live. I am drinking from the cup of plenty and I know it...
We had a great long weekend. There were walks on the beach, afternoon naps, reading O magazine in the autumn sun and lots of reconnecting; as a family and as a couple. And oh yeah! there were also some Godiva chocolate truffles involved! A little piece of heaven... let me tell you:)

Oh, what a lovely weekend you had and it looks as if the weather cooperated as well! I just love that you are owning and cherishing this time in your life. You are living consciously and intentionally and it shows. I'm so happy for you!! Thanks, as always, for your sweet comments and, yes, I did post about the reunion!

What a lovely weekend you had! It sounds like a wonderful time.
I loved your post a lot - it is so good when you just feel comfortable with the life that you lead, that you're at home with yourself.
And that photo is gorgeous!

Ahhhh, hearing about the chocolate truffles got my tongue craving for some, and I felt as if I was there too with you, feeling the air moving with the waves, you describe it so wonderfully.

I have been quiet on the blogland because of my teaching job and have less time to paint, and my heart is encumbered. Wish I could fnd more time soon and play with colours.

So nice to read your words, they sooth my soul!

such a wise, wonderful perspective. You had me sighing before the Godiva truffles but now? i am drooling just envisioning all this goodness.

and you know, you/we worked hard for it. time to savor and enjoy each wonderful morsel!
