This class with Kelly Rae is a gift. Today I make a commitment in my heart to name and walk through my fears so that I can fly...I will make it a habit to "practice courage" by not demanding perfection of myself but by doing my very best in each moment.

Catching up here ...
first - jaw dropping gorgeous shot of your daughter. you seem to be upping the ante with each photograph!
different situation, but i too am feeling a bit overwhelmed - and excited - by the start of Kelly Rae's course. i want to get all that i can out of it, but am finding things in my life piling up - good things, yes, but still piling up - and all demanding my attention. i know whatever i get will be perfect for me in this moment, but definitely some weird anxiety mounting.
so today's post: practice courage - oh, thank you! and i create a piece and the words "stretching into my dreams" emerged. stretching ... yes! but i am a noisy, groaning kind of stretcher, so i guess i shouldn't be surprised that this opportunity is bringing up irrational resistances in me.
so i will practice courage, let go of perfection and remember my word for the year is Fearlessness.
i hope this period of separation is brief and rich with insights into your strength, your courage.

This picture of your art is so peaceful, the women in the pics seem restful and quietly confident. Oh what our art teaches us....
In your honour and in honour of all the Illustrators and Painters, I published
