(tonight-in my studio)
Tonight I started in on my studio...it's going to take awhile but..I actually broke out my paints!! And I said a blessing for this new studio of mine...it is my deepest deepest wish that I will create art that comes deep from my heart...that I will surrender to my own unique wildness + grace, pour out stories that are raw + healing. That I collect all the pieces of mySELF and lay them bare.That my art will evolve...as I do...and I will manifest my own unique songs + poetry in paint. I want to claim + honor my stories right here on my blog, through my art + through my relationships + connections. I am excited about what this year will hold; I want to make mistakes, go back to beginner mind...and most of all ...be open.

Glad you've got it unpacked and can at least spend some time creating. Can't wait to see all your new inspirations!
Totally love the blessing of the studio!! We ended up having to have our entire deck dismantled this week because of termite damage. The new one is well under way and I will have to remember to bless it too!! (after I recover from having to pay for it!)
