Self Portrait?

I had so much fun with this-while it does not bear my physical likeness exactly, I tried to convey  a sense of frailty and vulnerability as well as strength ...also sadness; a searching and a finding. The best part-I learned so much and used so many mediums-watercolor, acrylics, gesso, shivas, my newly discovered Stabillo, inks....and had a blast! I am learning so much in Misty's class and am embracing my SELF and  a new found freedom of expression.
