Make your dreams real...

I just made this visual journal a few days ago in prepartion for Flying Lessons (super excited about this class!)
This is the front cover..."Make Your Dreams Real"

page 1...trying to define what "success" means to me.

...it's all about the journey

(P.S. I recently discovered these Portfolio Water Soluble Oil Pastels on Amazon. They are super rich and buttery. Amazing consistency and color and ...I think just $4 for a set of 12!!)

and thanks for the tip on these oil pastels. i'm always struggling with what supplies to use. guess it's part of the artistic process.
and really good question about what success means to you...i think i'm going to ponder that today.

love your new journal ... and that wonderful bird! and how did you know, i've been wanting to indulge in oil pastels (i use a set given to my daughter, but i think i can get mine own :)

i have been pondering this question of success - it seems imperative that we decide for ourselves what success is and not fall victim to letting others determine what we need to be/experience/do. it is so hard to keep straight those voices from outside and the small voice of truth within us. it is possible and i believe finding like-minded company helps support us in making our own definitions.

Portfolio oil pastels have been popping up everywhere. Something I must try!
I'm re-reading the book Write It Down, Make It Happen by Henriette Anne Klauser after looking back at a list I made the first time I read the book. Over half of the things on my list have materialized within the year. Writing it down and even better illustrating, journaling about it seems to have some sort of power. I suppose its all part of the law of attraction .... thinking positively about something, picturing it clearly .... quite an exciting concept isn't it?
Your journal is glorious!
